Father wrap Your loving and Healing hands around Zoe. She is a miracle in herself but these loving parents need more miracles. I know You are capable of opening up doors and hearts and hands in order for this child to be normal. Sheis Your miracle Father given to parents who love her and pray for her. Bless her Lord and those who are taking care of her. Bless these parents and these little ones who welcome her into their home. Meet each need I pray. In the precious name of Jesus I thank you for being with Zoe and her loved ones. Amen

Sweet little Zoe,
I want you to know I am thinking and praying for you. That even though we have not met I love you and your family. I can say that because I Believe we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. I have faith that God has a purpose for you and whatever that purpose is I pray to be filled. That His will be done. You are a blessing and gift from God. You are loved, cherished and prayed for. I wish I could come and give you a hug and wisper sweet lullabyes in your ear. I am praying for your family as they need strength and faith to guide them along this journey.
Dear Lord please hear my prayer. Zoe is such a blessing and we thank you for her. We know not what your plan or purpose is for Zoe. We ask that you watch over Zoe and her family. Give them strength, comfort and a renewed faith in you. Guide the many doctors, nurses and medical persons caring for Zoe to do their best work for You. Bring your healing touch to this family and those in need. In Christ’s name, amen.

Zoe,
I just wanted to whisper a sweet tender voice and tell you that there is a Healer passing your way and his name is high above all others and my family is praying for you. Jim and Carmen since I have heard this news about this mountain you are climbing you both are on my mind because I for one know what it is like being there and away from your other children and thinking of the baby you want to hold so very bad and you have to wait but I know that our God is able to do anything because I was very nervous when Joshua had to go to Savannah without me and I just thought of God the whole time and many prayers went up for us as well. I know that our case is nothing compared to yours with Zoe . Please feel free to call on me and Shon anytime to talk because that is the most comforting when your there. We will continue to check on you guys and keep praying for our little champ .

Hey little Man…you got a great family…God has great things planned for you. You have a Mommy and Daddy who believe in Jesus the healer, they know He still does it and they’re expecting you to be touched and be made completely whole and healthy. You’ll have an awesome story to tell, right now, just rest little Zoe…I’m praying for you…
August 21, 2008 at 1:36 pm
How amazing is your faith!! I truly understand what it’s like to be where you are. One thing we both know, God can heal this child! The physcians are there to help do God’s work! Keep steadfast in prayer, and believe me, you have a multitude of people praying for you! We prayed for Zoe’s healing last night in our women’s bible study! He is absolutely a blessing from God. I believe you can rely on God’s promises, He is a God that listens to our prayers. Jesus taught his disciples to insist and never give up praying. I will continue with you and your family to pray without ceasing for Zoe’s complete restoration!! Keep the faith. What a true servant of Jesus the both of you are. I am blessed to have met you.

Jim and Carmen we want to let you guys know that our thoughts are with you. We are praying for Zoe. God said in his word that by his stripes we ARE healed. We ask for Zoe’s complete healing right now in the name of Jesus. But we also praise God in advance for his healing. We know that his timing is not our timing and his ways are not our ways. It may not come when and how we expect but nevertheless it is coming. He said it and it will be so. Jim and Carmen for you two we pray that right now God would surround you with strength like never before to come upon you and peace like a river. We pray that He will give you rest and comfort in Him. Isaac and Katelyn we pray that God will give you understanding and a new, deeper knowledge in Christ and the power that comes only with knowing Him. You are so important to your mom and dad.
Guys we do love you and lift you up in our prayers. God does not put more on us than we can bare. He would not allow you to go through this unless he trusted you come through this stronger than you were before, closer than you were before and reaching more, through this, than you were before.
A great pastor once told us, when you are going through a rain storm, do not pull over beside the road and wait for the rain to slack off or the storm to pass over but instead. Continue on every second becoming even closer to the end than the minute before.
We believe in this healing and in God’s amazing plan he has in this trial.
With love and faith in Christ,
Timmy, Jennifer, Ethan and Kobe Cox

Hi,
You do not know me, but I currently work with Corey Pilgrim at Walmart. He has told me so much about your family and I can easily see how much you all mean to him. Corey has expressed the kindness and faith that you all possess and it has inspired me to go back to church and rebuild my relationship with God. Zoe’s story touches my heart and I will be praying for him. Even though I have strayed away, I have witnessed miracles made by Jesus Christ and I know that God is capable of creating one of those miracles for Zoe. I know that this is all a part of God’s plan and that his will shall be done. So I continue to pray for Zoe and your family may God give you all the strength and love needed in a time like this.
My Prayers are with you,
Ashly Coleman

Carmen,
I know we serve a God of miracles. Our miracle Charity will be 25 this month. As you know we were married 15 years before she was born and
I know her very life is a miracle and a gift from the Lord.
We will continue to pray for all of you. May the very breath of God
breathe His life and healing into baby Zoe. His Word is truly life to us
as believers.

Pastor Jim and Carmen I want you to know that I love you. Outside of my immediate family you guys are probably the most important people in the world to me and I hate having to see you go through this. I’m praying for your family and believing in faith that everything will turn out ok. Zoe is a beautiful kid and I can’t wait to meet him, I bet he will be awesome just like his other siblings.
August 21, 2008 at 5:32 pm
My dear Zoe,
What a precious family God has brought you in to. Not only has He given you a wonderful Christian father and mother, but also a big brother and sister to run and play with. I know Isaac will pray for you and let you know how things run around your house. He’s a great big brother and will watch after you. Now I believe Katlin is the princess at the Simpson residence, so adore her as I know she will treat you like her own baby doll for a few years at least and then maybe let you try a bit on your own. We look forward to your arrival on Elton Street. Jamie , John and JuliAna will be looking for you to be paraded in that stroller as the rest of the family and Shadrach stroll for their evening walk. You’ll meet many of your prayer warriors on this day in the neighborhood. Maybe we will stand on the street and sing our praises with hands lifted up high to our God who heals as you pass by. I know in our hearts, that is where we stand! We are looking forward to it. Praying for it. Believing God will heal you. Until then, wait on the Lord as He renews your strength and soon you’ll be walking…running….soaring! We love you already. Many blessings to you and your family! See you soon!
Praying for you always!

Dear Zoe,
You are in God’s hands at this very moment. Many prayers are being said for you even as your sweet parents “Daddy” and “Mommy” are reading this to you! You are a precious little boy that God fearfully and wonderfully made. He knew you before you were born, and He has a perfect plan for your life! You came into this world exactly when He wanted you to be here. All that God ordains is right and good, even when it is beyond our understanding. Keep fighting, Zoe, and know that you are not fighting alone. In fact, the Lord told King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chron. 20 “to not be afraid or dismayed because the battle is NOT yours, but it is God’s.” Some others take this to mean “be still and wait for your salvation.” He also commanded Joshua the leader of Israel “to be strong and of a good courage for the Lord thy God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 You are ever in my prayers, little man. I hope to meet you soon
Tell your Mommy and Daddy to not be afraid or discouraged, because the Lord is with them, too! I love you and pray for you daily, Miss Placilla…that’s what your big brother calls me
August 21, 2008 at 7:15 pm
Dear Zoe,
You are wondrous and precious and loved by so many. We have been praying for you since you were born, and we know that God is working good in your life. We send our love to you, your Mommy and Daddy.

Dear Zoe
I am writing to you from London, England. It’s still quite early here and the middle of the night where you are. I hope your parents and family are getting some rest and I hope you are lying comfortably and looking forward to a new day. Either you are sleeping or looking around at the world.
I hope one day you go on an airplane and come to Europe and see some beautiful sites. One day you experience a cream tea in Cornwall (scones, clotted cream, strawberry jam – I know it sounds gross but it’s worth a try, trust me) and I would also recommend visiting Holkham Bay beach in Norfolk for the best sandcastles and looking for some beautiful shells. (get daddy to carry the bucket – it gets pretty heavy)
The world is out there waiting for you. We are all here. The Christian and the non-Christian people, the people who eat too many cream teas and the people who walk their dogs on beaches at Sunrise.
May you have a miracle and may your family have strength to get through every day.
Best Wishes.
August 23, 2008 at 2:07 pm
You have all been in our prayers daily and we continue to pray for Zoe’s healing. I have talked to several of my friends and coworkers about Zoe and what a wonderful Christian family he has, I’ve asked each of them to add you to their prayer lists at their church services. Stay strong in your faith and know that God has a plan for each of you and Zoe. The girls check the site as soon as they get in from school in the afternoons (the days they are here) to see his progress. May God continue to bless you…………….
August 23, 2008 at 4:38 pm
I know your hearts must be heavy at the moment and my prayer for you as a family is for God to perform a miracle in the life of baby Zoe and to give you peace. Our God is great and can do all things, so we pray believing and in accordance with his will. May God Bless you.
August 23, 2008 at 9:39 pm
Dear Lord,
As you hold Zoe’s life I know how much you desire to have him by your side as you do all your children. But God, it is my prayer that you give this child to Jim and Carmen for a season. Allow him to be an arrow in Jim’s quiver. To train up as a witness of your awsome power and grace. Lord I pray the day will come when I can hold him on my lap and tell him how his life has lifted up my own and so many others. Surely, Lord, you could wait a while. Add this prayer to the growing petition of prayers calling on YOU for the healing of Zoe Simpson.
In the name of our Savior, Jesus, amen.

Hello dear Zoe,
I thought of you often today, but the most prominent thought was as I walked the street with my neighbor, here, where your family lives. I watched the children walk and ride their bike in front of us as the dogs walked along beside us and thought of your family. I thought of you. How we long for you to come home and grace us with your presence here on Elton Street and throughout the neighborhood. We are praying for you to be healed. You must know by now that your parents know the Creator that formed your very being and knows your inner most parts. Many of us believe like they do that our God can heal you. So we pray for you. We pray believing. God may take a while to heal you and that is quite alright. We will pray for as long as we need to. We love you already and thank God for the precious blessing that you are. You see, because of you, many of us have spent a bit more time with our Lord than usual. We forget sometimes that He is all we need. The doctors don’t know what else to do, but we are reminded that God knows all our needs and will supply for them according to His riches in glory. There is nothing too hard for Him. Our God is more than able to heal you precious Zoe. Like the believers that lifted their friend through the roof to carry him to Jesus when he couldn’t go for himself, we lift you up in prayers of faith, praying, pleading in the name of Jesus for your life, for your healing. We will not rest until God moves. We will pray earnestly until He answers. I believe faith moves God.
My heart sings this song to you….
Jesus love you this I know
For the Bible tells me so
Little ones to Him belong
They are weak, but He is strong
Yes, Jesus loves you
Yes, Jesus loves you
Yes, Jesus loves you
The Bible tells you so
OH HOW HE LOVES YOU AND ME!
With Love and prayers,
Ms. Shirley

You do not know me, but someone is praying for you and your family in Ontario!

The Lord is mighty and His works are marvelous. His word is truth and life. He is the HEALER & we put our trust in Him, not lean to our own understanding. He makes our path straight. He is more than able to accomplish beyond what we can ever ask for or imagine. Have faith and stand strong for the battle is the Lord’s and with our armor of God we place daily YOU WILL HAVE VICTORY. May the peace of God be with you all and Zoe, may the strength of God help you to stand strong, may the Grace of God be evident, may the love of God wrap around you all and surround you with a bond and cords that cannot be broken. Zoe is a testimony of God’s Blessings and Miracles.

You all are in our hearts and prayers. Even though you do not know us, we wanted you to know that we are praying for each of you. Our church in Douglas asked prayer for Zoe this morning and you have been in our heart ever since. We also had a child sent to Savannah. The doctors didn’t think she would make it, the Lord knew she would! That was eleven years ago and now she is living for Him! My sister weighed one pound and again the doctors wasn’t sure. The Lord knew better! My sister is now twentyone years old. No matter what we are faced with, He is always in control! We live by faith in Him and praise Him in it all. In His Love,.

Father in Your Son’s name I ask that you heal Zoe of all sickness and pray that he continues to be the little fighter that he is and comes out of this journey with a beautiful story to tell his grandchildren. I pray for Carmen, Jim, Isaac and Katelyn, that they will soon be able to bring Zoe to the family home and watch him grow and prosper and to become the Man of God that you have already created him to be Lord. I plead the blood of Your Son over this family and that you will shall be done.
In Jesus name Mr. and Mrs. Simpson HIS will shall be done!
August 25, 2008 at 1:32 am
The Lord is mighty and mighty are his ways! We may not understand now what we are going through, but his plan for ours lives will be revealed when we least expect it. I know that you do not know us, but we have been touched by Zoe’s struggle and have prayed fervently for your family. Please know that God has his loving arms cradled around Zoe right now, whispering sweet words of peace and love in his ears. You will be in our thoughts and prayers tomorrow, that the MRI will reveal that a total healing has taken place.

Zoe,
Your life has already touched more people’s hearts than most people do in a lifetime. God has a purpose. When the people asked Jesus why the blind man had been born blind, wondering if it was because of his sin or the sin of his parents, Jesus said NEITHER. He said that the blind man had been born blind that the GLORY of God might be revealed to men, then He healed him.
I know that God’s glory will be revealed to men through you my precious friend. So squeeze mommy and daddy’s finger for me and let them know everything is going to be alright. I’m looking for the joy to come in the morning.

Father God, we call forth healing in the name of Jesus. Manifest your healing power now, Lord. I ask that you give supernatural insight and wisdom to the Dr.’s who are caring for baby Zoe. We call those things that be not as though they were, and we believe your word that says ‘by His stripes we are healed. You have called us to health and wealth. We ask that you would cause Zoe’s parents, Jim and Carmen seek your face daily, not just your hand. Dear Lord,
I lift up Zoe is Jesus’ name and pray for his healing. I know You can do this, and You are the great Healer. Please put Your arms around this beautiful little boy and heal his brain. Lord, even if Zoe will have developmental delays, he is a beloved gift from You. I know You give and take away, but please let his Mommy and Daddy enjoy him and let him live. Your will be done, as Your will is perfect. We put our trust in You and You alone, our Lord and God. In Christ’s Name, Amen.

He is our healer and when no one else knows what to do, He does. We love you and can’t wait for you to come home. We pray God blesses you today and heals you in the name of Jesus!
Praying for you always,

Hello, Zoe!
I’m Olga from Russia. The whole worlds prayes for you, Zoe, I can’t even imagine what’s going on in the souls of all the family. Just now, that we pray…
I couldn’t write you earlier, because I had problems with internet, but I’ve been thinking of you and praying for you!!!
God will help us, if we believe. We can overcome everything.
I pray for you every day.

Zoe, you may not know but you are cradled in the hands of God. You are very precious, more than all the stars in heaven or all the material treasures on earth. I pray for you and your family for strength, peace, and more of God’s miracles. I always try to keep the promise in my heart that God’s plan is sometimes mysterious but works for his glory and the good of those who love him. Know that God is in control, and we are all praying for and thinking of you all.

August 26, 2008 at 3:20 pm
Jim and Carmen our family is in transition to South Georgia where we have been given the honor to serve as State YCE Directors. We just learned of this crisis today and while moving down will keep little Zoe in our prayers. We don’t know about tomorrow but we know who holds our hand. We are going to believe with you that God will touch Zoe and work a miracle in his life.
We look forward to meeting you and laboring together with you for the kingdom. Please let us know if there is anything beyond prayer that we can do for you or your family.
Our prayers are with you today!

RE: last comment by you, Jim – tiring? My goodness, in no way are your requests, up-dates, comments tiring! Your faith and love as a family are truly inspiring and I can never tire from that. My praying for sweet Zoe is not tiring, it is from my heart and how can one be tired of something that comes from the ehart? I so appreciate the time and effort it takes for you and Carmen to keep everyone up-dated. ((( My prayers for Zoe and for the family will continue. ))) Please give him a kiss for me. Thank you.
Hugs,
Jeanette

We have only met all of you through Haley and reading your updates on Zoe have strengthened us personally. His precious presence is angelic and warming and the only explanation for that is God’s presence. Whether we understand or question anything is just a natural feeling. Our prayers are with you all and stay strong, because your strength is already showing and helping us. How ironic is that? Thank you for being the believers that you are!!
August 26, 2008 at 4:21 pm
Jim and Carmen,
I just heard Zoe’s story and immediately visited the website looking for more information. I will be praying for Zoe diligently and promise to share his story with others, and ask that they join us in prayerful aggreance. Your courage and faith are inspiring. God bless you and your family. He is in control.

Hi..
I first heard about baby Zoe from Regina Lasseter. She and Monty are the former youth pastors of our church in Donalsonville. I just wanted to let you know that I, and many others, have been praying for Zoe. This morning I was reading my daily devotion book, called Choosing Life One Day at a Time, and the words just lept off the page at me. I felt sure I should share them here…

God Will Invade Your Storm
Oh, God, have pity, for I am trusting You! I will hide beneath the shadow of your wings until this storm is past…Psalm 57:1
God does not send you storms, but He will invade your storms. And when He does that, the storms will turn into nothing more than mere showers. The dictionary describes the word “invade” as “to enter by force to conuer; to encroach upon; to overrun as if by invading; to enter and spread harm through.” Storms come in and rip up and tear up, but showers bring fresheness and renewed growth. I’m sure you have noticed how calm and peaceful it is after a storm has passed.
You may be going thrugh a storm in your life right now, but God did not send that storm. Just as there’s a God…there’s also a devil. He’s evil, and his only job is to try to steal, kill, and destroy you (John 10:10).
But God will invade the storm the devil has sent your way if you ask Him. I love Psalm 56:9, which says, “The very day I call for help, the tide of battle turns…”. Begin to thank Him right now for invading your storms and replacing it with peace.
I thank You, Father, that You do not send storms into my life, but You invade them and cause them to dissipate. I call upon You to bring Your peace into every situation I may face today. I hide beneath the shadow of Your wings, and I put my trust in You.

Dearest Zoe and family,
Father God, I lift this family up to YOU! You knew before you created the earth that this family would be going through this with little Zoe. You are a sovereign God and like John 10:28 says, no one can snatch Zoe out of Your hands, no matter what the outcome. I ask for strength and peace for this family. Your word tells us You will never leave us or forsake us. I pray You reveal Yourself in a powerful way to this family.
Thankyou Lord.
For Your glory..

Jim & Carmen,
I am the father of 17 week premie twins (boy and girl) and a 14 week premie little girl. My wife and I spent two whole summers in Savannah at the Ronald McDonald House (1995, 2005). Having faith in the Lord and trusting in him is where we found our strength.
Regarless of the circumstaces, we must remember that we are all fearfully and wonderfully made by our creator. Zoe is precious in the eyes of God and protected in his hands.
My family and I will continue to pray for you all.
God Bless

Lifting your family up to the Almighty!
August 26, 2008 at 8:21 pm
Almighty Father, King of Kings, Great Physician, God of Miracles and Hope,
We call on You now for the sake of this little one Zoe and his family, that You will hear from Heaven as You have promised and completely and utterly heal this child in every part of his body, mind and spirit. We know that You alone can do this, Lord. We acknowledge we are not worthy to speak Your Name. We remember Your miracles and Your might works throughout the ages. As You knew Zoe before You formed him in his mother’s womb, please heal and restore him now. Thank You for hearing and answering our prayers. All glory and honor is Yours, Father!
August 26, 2008 at 9:36 pm

Dear Jim & Carmen,
Zoe is a gift from heaven above. The day your son was born we all hit our knees and prayed Oh Lord let him be healed! I know the Lord knows what he is doing because he brought Zoe to all of us and your son has touched our lives. Please Lord put your healing hand on this little boy, we pray to thee, with thankful hearts and bended knees. We pray Lord heal this little body and make his parent’s life complete. We believe in miracles and we give you Lord all the Glory. Amen

Dear Jim and Carmen,
My 15 year old grandaughter in Hazlehurst forwarded the plea for prayer for your precious little Zoe, and for all your family. Needless to say how proud I am of her as our Lord admonished her to include me in this most urgent plea. Plese know that my Monday morning Bible Study group, and well as my e-mail devotional group will be praying for God to work this miracle in healing Zoe we all know He can do. We are also praying for your strength, courage, emotional, and spiritual needs during this most difficult time. My heart is with you as we wait patiently for God’s answer.

You have touched so many lives in such a short time. Seeing your parents’ strength and the miracles that God has performed in you already have made my faith a lot stronger. You are such a wonderful gift from God. I will continue to pray for your complete healing. You and your family are not alone in this fight.
Lord,
I ask that you reach down and restore Little Zoe from the top of his head to his tiny little feet. I know that you are our Healer, You are Zoe’s Healer. I praise you and glorify you.
Amen

I will be keeping precious Zoe and your family in my prayers. Miracles are possible. Through out my entire pregnancy I was told my little girl was to have LOTS of things wrong with her. Things that would have caused her life to be cut far too short. Through prayer and by the grace of God, my little girl is 7 months old and thriving. I have faith that Zoe will come through his challenges as well. He has already overcome so much. Anything is possible. My prayers are with you.

Please know that the entire state of South Georgia will be supporting you with their prayers. If there is anything we can do please don’t hesitate to call on us.

August 29, 2008 at 3:38 am
My husband Derick and I were blessed to have the privilege of meeting you and your family at the South Georgia youth camp this year. It was amazing to discover that our little miracles were both due September 22nd! We didn’t have the opportunity to talk much, but we had many things in common and I felt an instant friendship and connection with you. When I saw the news of your little Zoe, my heart was burdened for you and I wanted to take a moment to let you know that we are partnering in faith with you for the healing of your precious little warrior. He is a gift from God and however long God allows you to be stewards of his life I know it will be for a divine purpose and plan bigger than what we can comprehend. May God be your ever present help in time of trouble. May He be the lifter of your heads, your Comforter and your Strong Tower. We pray and speak healing over Zoe and blessings over your family. Please keep us updated on his condition AND on the testimonies that will arise out of your lives. Who knows…perhaps next year at the SGA youth camp our two little blessings will meet and become instant friends as we did! God bless you!

Dear Baby Zoe…………
My heart and soul goes out to you, and I pray to the Good Lord that healing and recovery blesses your beautiful body. May your family continue to have a stong faith in our God and not give up hope through your difficult battle. You’ve already endured so much in your short life, so don’t stop fighting–you are an inspiration to us all. The faith your family exhibits is an example to everyone….to everyone who knows them personally, or that just reads or hears of your battle. They are a wonderful witness of how Great our God truly is…..
Love endures all….love is everlasting…love is GOD. I will continue to pray as will my family and friends. With love in Christ~~~~

Jim you said a huge truth when you said:
The truth is that it is in suffering and loss that most of us stand in awe. I can hear one great sermon after another and one great song after another, but let me see faith at work and I am challenged to be a better person.
i have always said that the greatest testimony of a Christian is the walk that we walk. the world is always watching those who claim to follow the faith. in reality none of us can suffer the trials and tribulations of this flesh without the strength that God gives us. no matter what comes your way take heart.
PHILIPPIANS 4:13 says :
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
God will give you the strength no matter what is before you. if you need more strength for prayer God will give it to you. if you need more strength for a greater measure of faith God will give it to you. He will neither leave you nor forsake you! many people may think of it as just a trite little saying—-but assuredly i say to you that God is in control! it isn’t easy to have a little one in the hospital. from personal experience i can tell you that it is difficult to have a love one in the hospital and you yourself are sick and cannot go to them. your heart yearns to be with them, to hold them, to tell them how much you love and adore them. Have faith. God will work this situation for his greater glory. i am quite sure there have been several blessings from zoe’s ordeal already. in no other words can his progress be described than that of a miracle to this point. God’s timeframe may not be our timeframe but His promises are yes and amen.
we love your family and we pray for you all multiple times each day. again i say God is in control.

Baby Zoe and Family,
through some very good friends, Nathan and Deirdre Greer, I have been asked to pray for all of you. I am a mother of three, two beautiful children here with me and one Playing in God’s garden. What a beautiful baby Zoe is! I just pray for the Lord to lift you up and continue to give you the strenght you need while you are in this valley. we all, at some point in our lives go through valleys and we are able to reach the top of that mountain with God walking right beside us. “All things are possible through Christ” and HE IS the Almighty healer. I look forward to seeing updates of Zoe. My prayers are with you always! The kennedy’s ,Blakely, GA

Guys, my heart goes out to you. I know how precious parenthood can be. My boys are 20 and 12, and they are my world. Even as I type this, my youngest is lying on my office couch because he had to leave school sick. The sorrow for a simple cold or virus just pales in comparison to conditions such as the one your family is facing. Rest assured, as a parent, Youth Pastor, and brother in Christ, that the prayers of my family, Surge Student Ministries and University Blvd. Church of God are with your family. Nothing is hidden from God, and I guarantee Zoe’s life and circumstance is resting in the hands of the Almighty! God bless and we love you!

Baby Zoe And Family,
I am the little sister of Lisa Kennedy and it was her who shared the story of baby Zoe to me. You are all are in my prayers and may God be with you all. When I had my open chest surgery back in July, I kept this saying in my head, and it got me through the day.”the will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.”
It really helps knowing that God will never let you down.
He has His reason for everything though we may not know just why He does the things He does.
I hope Zoe grows strong (:
I look foward to seeing Zoe getting better each day and seeing updates!

I will be keeping you and the family in my prayers. I will also repost the bulletin I saw so that others may be in prayer too. But to give you some hope, I know a little boy that was born prematuraly. That same little boy was involved in a car accident which claimed the lives of his two aunts and another girl. But PRAISE God, that same little boy, is still here today. He celebrated his sixth birthday this past March. That little boy is what we call a “miracle” baby. Zoe is one too. Zoe may have been born prematurly, but God has a purpose for Zoe and though we may not know what that purpose is, it will be shown in God’s timing. One of my dearest and closest friends was five months pregnant and lost her baby. She has two boys and this one would have been a girl. I believe knowing that is what hurt her the most though. But being able to touch your child, and see your child is the greatest gift from God. Yes, at this moment, you may question God on why, but you have to continue to focus and know that He nevers gives us more than we can handle. Their is reasoning for everything He does. Continue to hold onto the Faith and know that Zoe is in God’s hands all the way.
“Lord, I thank you for this precious blessing you bestowed upon this family. Though we never understand why a child comes before it’s time, we know that in our unconditional faith for you, this child will grow stonger. Lord, I pray strength and comfort to this family. Allow them the cability to make it through each day as they await the opportunity to carry their beautiful baby Zoe home. I thank you Lord that you are healing and strengthening Zoe right now as this is being read. I thank you that this family is going to be able to see the greatness you have bestowed upon this beautiful baby. In your name Lord, it shall be done, in faith believing!! In your precious name, Amen and amen.”
Keeping yall in my prayers.

I’am so thrilled of the good news that the Lord has granted for Zoe, what a miracle for his eyes to be healed. I will continue to trust that God’s Healing Hand is on his life & He is in full control. I will believe the report of the Lord & that is. That the plans that God has for Zoe is a future and hope. I hope that you have received the CD personalized for Zoe, the scripture that the Lord brought to mind was Proverbs 3:8 IT WILL BE HEALTH TO YOUR FLESH, AND STRENTGH TOYOUR BONES.
I will continue to lift up the whole family in prayer. My thoughts & prayers are with Pastor Randy & Diana too.

Dear Little “Life”,
What a blessing you are to so many. When your mommy and daddy gave you your name I am sure they never knew just how hard you would have to fight for it but precious one GOD is on your side. He made you and He DOES NOT make mistakes. You know that the Bible says God loves children best of all because they are so pure. Enjoy your “rest” time little one. We pray daily for God to move in your behalf. We have never seen you and may not ever but WE LOVE YOU Zoe. God has ordained your days little one. He has set you apart for His purpose. You just hold on and in His time it will all be fullfilled. Praise God Zoe for all the lives He is drawing to Him through you. Rest now Little Angel and you will be strong in due time. Always remember the love of God inside you!! God will never ever send you where His grace won’t keep you~!! We love you little one!!

Hey Zoe. My name is Larry. My son Noah was in the womb and tried to come at 30 wks. It was a little to early. There were many prayers given up for his life. When we were rushed to Savannah some doctors were no big deal. One lady in particular told us very bad news. It was kind of devastating. She said he would always be small. We had already picked out Noah James as a name way before he was born. Noah means peaceful, James means supplanter. I had faith that our firstborn would be fine but it was being shaken at the roots. I read all I could find relating to the names in the Bible. I found the scriptures where in Genesis it states that God was sorry he had made man beacuse they grew exceedingly wicked BUT!!!! Noah found Grace in the eyes of the Lord. I showed my wife the passage and we got down and asked for that scripture to apply to every day of his Life. I didnt even realize that as in the passage of Eli and Hannah I was declaring it in the spirit. We were discharged and he was born a few weeks later in Douglas. He was tiny but healthy. He is now a very large and happy 4 and 1/2 yr old who loves Jesus. He looks 6. So much for what the doctor said. She didnt know my GOD!!! Who can do all things.
Also, What ever God speaks it happens. He said let there be light and there was light. Your name Zoe, means life. I pray that he is speaking your name in heaven and healing over you. As in the Roman soldier who spoke to Jesus said, He understood authority and that he wouldnt even have to come to their home just speak healing, and it would be so. I pray that all who surround you as the high priests of their households and respresentatives speak life over you. We will come see you and your family back at your church so you can show us What God has done soon! God bless you and your family.

One more. A song we used to sing sometimes
My God is more than enough
He supplies all my needs
he is my El shaddai he always looks out for me
Jehova Jireh
HE IS MY God
SO why should I worry about the highs and the lows
the ups and the downs
BY MY FAITH I KNOW (REPEAT)
please sing to Zoe it is faith building!!!!!

When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2
Dear Jim and Carmen,
You are passing through some deep and unstill waters right now. Be still and know that He is God, remembering that our Father will never leave nor forsake you, that He is your Refuge and Strength and your Portion, an ever-present Help in times of trouble, that He works all good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose, and that He will gently quiet you, Zoe, Isaac, and Katelyn with His love and rejoice over you with singing (Zeph. 3:17) even as you are quieting Zoe with your love and rejoicing over him with singing. May our God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, filled with His Spirit, leaning on and resting in our Lord Jesus, focused on this One of infinite beauty and grace.
Praising the One Most High for the precious life of this dear one, Zoe, who is fearfully and wonderfully made by Him and for Him for such a time as this and who has touched my life and SO many others! Am greatly encouraged with his progress and what a fighter he is to cling to this world. Am pleading for our sovereign and merciful Lord God to graciously strengthen you and give healing to Zoe by His Power through the Holy Spirit, with a deep assurance of His Presence, aware that you are under the expanse of His Mighty Wings, gracing you with the perfect joy that comes from resting at the feet of Christ our Lord, flooded with the DEEP and WIDE love of Jesus.
May you SHINE forth to others as a living testimony of God’s goodness, grace and faithfulness, that through this the Lover and Sustainer of our souls will be glorified and continue to use you to be an encouragement to other believers to press on towards the Prize, and to draw those in darkness towards Christ Jesus, our precious Lord. Praising our all sufficient God that He listens to the cries of His people and is not only able, but most willing, abundantly and beyond, to answer our pleas in His good and perfect way. May He make His face to shine upon you and your family, lifting you up and giving you peace.
The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him. Psalm 28:7

Dear Jim and Carmen:
Keep hanging in there. My prayer for you is that the strength, peace, and wisdom of our Father will permeate the very air of the hospital room where Zoe is right now and your room at Ronald McDonald house. Everything you need has been prepared for and is available through Christ. Mona and I will be lifting you up in prayer. You are both very special to me. We love you.

Oh Heavenly Father,
We ask for your blesssings on this precious little child. You made him in your image, he is perfect and precious in Your eyes. We pray that this family will find their comfort in you alone, O Lord. We see how even in this terrible time, that they have complete faith and trust in You, Jesus. We ask You to bless the doctors who are working to heal him. Oh Lord, we ask that Your will be done in all this.
Love and best wishes to the whole family,

My dear Zoe and all the Simpson Family,
I am in awe of my God as I see the healing that is taking place even as I write this note. I sing this song as testimony of the power of the name of my Jesus by whose stripes we are healed. In Him we life and breathe.
“Jesus, something special, supernatural about Your name
Jesus, something happens when I mention Your name
Demons have to flee when I say Jesus
Sickness has to heal when I say Jesus
Every knee shall shall before and every tongue proclaim
with worthy praise
that matchless name of Jesus
Jesus, something special, supernatural about Your name
Jesus, something happens when I mention Your name
When I call upon your name the very atmosphere will have to change
We’ll be transformed we’ll never be the same by the power
of Your Holy name
Jesus, something special, supernatural about Your name
Jesus, something happens when I mention Your name”
Yes, something happens when we call on Jesus. We are expecting something to happen when we pray believing. Our God is faithful and hears us when we call and answers our pleas. God is and continues to work in your life Zoe. We bless His name for there is power in the name of Jesus!
Praying and praising with you always,

I just learned about Zoe this evening at our church. We have the Prayer Shawl Ministry that sends shawls and lap robes to RMH. Of course we are in earnest prayer for Zoe and your entire family. As for me personally I would like to pass along the name of a doctor at Duke University who just might be able to help you or at least point you in the right direction. She has been doing pioneer research in stem cells from cord blood and she treated our youngest grandaughter about 3½ years ago. The doctor’s name is Joanne Kurtzberg. If you search her name in Google there are all kinds of references and information about getting appointments with her. If you need to mention a name…our grandaughter is Abigail Pell. You can also “Google” her name and get her story. But I just cannot believe that Memorial Health is Zoe’s last stop. I will keep watching your site to follow his story because I firmly believe when you expect miracles from God, you get ‘em. Blessings Toni Olds

Father, we thank you for your faithfulness and we praise you no matter the circumstance. We stand together with our prayers that you touch this child with your healing touch. You are the great physician and we stand on your words. Give peace to this father and mother and direct the doctors with your wisdom. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

I would just like to say that me and my children are still praying very hard for baby Zoe. Looking at the website always touches my heart and I sat and I cried on the video of him crying. I never knew I could feel this much love for a child that I will never get to see or hold in my arms. Zoe is a very strong little boy and he continues to amaze me. God truly is working in him everyday. I will continue to pray and watch baby Zoe on the site. Zoe, proving every day that through God anything is possible.
September 6, 2008 at 6:07 pm
Dear baby Zoe,
You are a living testimony of God’s grace and mercy. He has began a healing work in your body that testifies of His power for all the world to see. You were set apart when God entrusted you to the parents that He has chosen for you. Parents that would give you to the Lord before you ever drew your first breath. Parents that would stand in faith believing for God to heal you and trust His heart in whatever answer He gave. Parents that would love you and care for your every need.
May you live up to your name, Zoe = Life. May that life be abundant in Jesus. May you always live to bring the glory to God that He created you to bring. We rejoice with you for each good report that we have heard. We pray continually for God to finish this healing work in your body. We pray believing! May God bless you today and always, precious child.

My dear Zoe,
Here I am again just wanting to hug you and squeeze you already. You have captured my heart. I pray fervently for your healing. I know my God is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ever expect or imagine … and He has, and continues to do it again and again. I am rejoicing at all your hospital promotions as God heals you. Can’t wait until you graduate from the hospital and head home to Elton Street. We so want to see you! Meanwhile, you just rest. Be still and know that He is God! He will give you strength to do what you are required to do…eating and all that. Mommy and Daddy are learning all they can to take special care of your needs. It won’t be long…just wait on God. His ways are always perfect. His timing is always right. With lots of love and faith…we continue to pray believing!
Blessings!

once there was a boy born named zoe. he was so small and tender that no one could see at first the special thing within his heart. his heart was that of a tiger, wild and full of life. his body could not be boken for his heart made it grow. his family stood together giving their whole love to this little boy, showing him that not all of the world was about fighting, teaching the tiger within to fight but also to love just as strong. as the days went by zoe grew until he no longer needed any special care, and, together with his family, went home to start a new more wonderous adventure.
you will be something so special that the world will be in awe of you and all that you will do. good luck growing little guy!!!

Dear Jim and Carmen, I just wanted to let you know that The River Of Life Church in Hazlehurst, Ga. has been praying for Baby Zoe since we heard the news. Being the Youth Pastor and Evangelist, I know God is in the miracle working business. He is going to heal Baby Zoe and draw all of you even closer to him. This test of your Faith in him is going to make you stronger according to Romans 8:28,”And we know all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” So be encouraged and know that God is going to awesome things in Baby Zoe’s life for many years. We are praying every day for each and every one of you. WE LOVE YOU AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

My dear Zoe Ezekiel,
It has been an adventurous week there with all the media. We are so excited to see how God is using you and your family in such a way. The promise of “life” and the “strength of God” have been evident in the miracle He has worked and continues to work within you. Many have heard the testimonies the people who have been keeping up with you and praying for you. God set you apart for His pleasure and the world is looking on and seeing the evidence of our faith in God for you.
Hebrews 1 states, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear..” It goes on to speak of how people “by faith” were obedient and blessed by God. Jer. 29:11 says, ” I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to give you a hope and a future, and not to harm you.” We stand in faith and continue obediently to pray for your healing. We pray believing! Much love and blessings to you.

Simpson Family,
I am praying for Zoe and your family. I know that this is a difficult time for you guys and I just want you to know that God would never put more on you than you can bear. God has a plan for your baby boy. You might not understand it but in due time God will show you what that plan is. Just keep your heads up and keep your spirits high. He’s an angel in disguise. God Bless you and I am praying for you. God has his loving arms around you and your family he will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep the dream alive don’t let it die. There is something deep inside that inspires to to try don’t stop. and never give up don’t ever give in…sometimes life will place a stumbling block in your way, but you gotta keep the faith, bring whats deep inside your heart to the light and never give up.
God Bless

Hi Zoe and family,
What an awesome thing it is to watch the hand of God unfold in the lives of His children. No matter what path we all must take it is truly amazing how God works all things to the good of those that love Him. We met John @ youth camp this year and were made aware not long after Zoe’s birth about the web page. I find such encouragement in everything on it. Zoe doesn’t even know yet how many countless lives he has already touched and changed. Whisper in his ear daily that God knows the plans that he has for him, plans for good and not for disaster, to give him hope and a future. Cant wait to hear that you guys are at home together. God speed.

Dear Zoe,
I know tomorrow is another big day with the scheduled surgery. We pray God will put His hand upon the doctors as they do what they do. We are excited about the many things God has done for your healing the past 6+ weeks. We serve an amazing God and nothing is to big for Him. I pray these blogs and the testimonies of your family and friends will be a constant reminder of God’s mercy and grace to you in years to come. He is worthy to be praised! May you grow in God’s wisdom, grace, and character day by day that you will know Him and make Him known among the nations. You have been set apart for His good. Blessings and prayers for you and yours. We pray believing!

We are at a loss as to what to say. BUT God does miracles!
Always remember to give thanks our Lord for all he has done
and will continue to do for you and your family. We know that
your mom & dad are fine christians. You ask how we know.
We have known your mom since before she was born. We watched her grow into the fine mother she has become just as we really look
forward to watching you grow up. Just remember Zoe that God will always be there for you whenever you need Him!!
With all our love and the love of Christ,

The Nixon’s will pray for you Zoe and we will expect a full report of God’s miracles and they begin pouring in. Someday when you graduate high school with honors and are headed off to Harvard and then on to become President, we can all be amazed at how God worked in your life through His wonderous glory and we can say we knew you when…May your life reflect God’s grace and mercy so others may come to know Him!
Go home soon…your parents need a break. Grow bigger so you can take of them one day.
This is just the begining little man. Just the beginning. Only heaven can contain you now (Nothing in this Earth has that kind of dominion over you anymore)!

I CAN NOT BELIEVE YOUR SHAMELESSNESS. YES I’M SORRY YOUR BABY WAS BORN EARLY BUT THEIR ARE FAMILIES WHOSE CHILDREN ARE BORN A LOT EARLIER THAN 6 WKS. AND NEVER ASK OTHERS FOR HELP JUST PRAYERS. BUT YOU $$ HUNGRY VULTURES ARE ASKING FOR $$$$$. I AM THE MOTHER OF A CHILD WHO WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR OVER 2YR. AND NEVER ASKED MY COMMUNITY FOR A DIME. OF COURSE PEOLPE FROM OUR CHURCH DID THINGS TO HELP LIKE SIT WITH HIM OR JUST PLAY A VIDEO GAME WITH HIM. AND EVERYONE FROM THE CEO TO THE CLEAN UP CREW LOVED HIM. I JUST FIND IT UNBELIEVABLE THAT YOU ALL WOULD HAVE THE GALL TO ASK FOR THINGS LIKE GIFT CARDS TO RUBY TUESDAY & APPLEBEE’S. IF YOUR CHILD WAS THAT SICK THOSE MATERIALISTIC THINGS WOULD BE THE LAST THING ON YOUR MINDS.

Tonya,
I would like to correct something. The family has never requested anything. The site, prayforzoe.com, was made and is maintained/hosted for free by the company Shift Creative. I personally am the one responsible for all of the content and any of the times that money was asked for it has been because either myself or someone else in the community has asked. The Simpson family never asked for anything and actually they have asked that I take down many of the messages asking for donations so that people do not think they are trying to make money off of their circumstance.
If you would like to discuss this further I ask that you please email me at brian@prayforzoe.com. A messageboard dedicated to leaving messages to a newborn baby is no place to continue this conversation. I would’ve emailed you however you did not leave an email and I could not let this matter be left unresolved.
Again Jim or Carmen have in no way had anything to do with any of the requests for money… they have 100% focused on taking care of their family.
I look forward to hearing back from you,
Brian Buchanan

I saw your praise report on the news today. Baby Zoe got to go home. I actually visited a mother and baby in the NICU and Zoe was only 2 or 3 babies down I knew your story then, and I prayed for you and baby. I just recently miscarried baby II and when I heard your story from my friend I was praying to God saying “please Lord, bless this baby and make it whole.” I am so happy to hear about your report and give God all the Glory & Praise. Your faith has touched many, and even those parents who were in the NICU with you. You touched them.

I am going to pray for Zoe and Zoes family. I pray for Gods healing, and comforting all those around Zoe, in all situations, that no matter what they will all be drawn closer to eachother, and of course closer to God, I am going to pray that Zoe will be healed and blessed and that it will give Glory and Praise To God, and Our Lord And Savior, Jesus Christ.
In My Prayers,
God Bless You And Always Be With You,
Kenny

Dear Zoe,
Hopefully someday you will read these many messages for yourself and thereby know that although the world can be rough, there is also much beauty, love and faith here as well. You will also see how much you have been loved and prayed for by those who are close to you and also by so many who didn’t really know you or your family but yet God still tugged on their hearts to love you and pray for you.
You will likely never know me or my wife, but we were blessed to see you many times and to pray for you and your family as we visited the hospital to see our little Granddaughter, Kelsie Langlois, who shared the NICU with you for so many weeks. She was born at only 26 weeks and was as small as 1 Lb 11 oz at one time. Whenever we went to see her we would also check on you as well. We witnessed your Mom and Dad visiting you, singing softly to you, washing you, touching you and simply loving you. To see them love and trust God, just as we do, was very uplifting to us.
My son Andrew, Kelsie’s Dad, called me this morning to tell me the wonderful news that you had gone home today and we all rejoiced at God’s goodness. Our little Kelsie is doing well also and hopefully she too will come home soon. Who knows, maybe someday you and Kelsie will meet again when you are a bit older. God is always a surprise.
God Bless,
Dan & Donna Langlois

Dear Zoe, you are such an amazing miracle. Just hearing your story has blessed my heart and increased my faith. I will pray for you daily. One day you will grow up and read these comments. May the Lord send his guardian angels to watch over you through these tough times. Praise the Lord for your healing. One day you will be able to tell your children’s children about the amazing miracles the Lord has done for you in your lifetime. Praise Jesus for the amazing testimony you will have. Praying for you and your family. All our love, Chris, Kris, Grace and Jack

Zoe:
You are such a miracle!! not only a miracle but a beautiful baby boy. I read that your appointments went well yesterday. That is a blessing!! You’ve come a long way, and from the results from your doctors looks like you’re soon to be doing what all 2 month old babes are doing. Jim and Carmen, I keep you in my prayers as well as your entire family. You have so much to be thankful for and your faith is very strong. God will continue to bless you and your family.

PRAISE BE TO JEHOVAH FOR HIS ABUNDANT MERCY AND GOODNESS on the life of Zoe, Jim, Carmen and family. I praise God for his wonders surpass human comprehension -even we Doctors are amazed at Zoe’s progress, and may it continue in Jesus Name -Amen! He has chosen the foolish thing to confound the wise.
Praise Jehovah

Baby Zoe-
May God strengthen you…may His face shine upon you, may He hide you in the cleft of the Rock which your parents stand on…may He strengthen your mom and dad. May their faith be stronger and stronger…may they supernaturally be empowered by the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus…may His stripes Heal you. May they say to this mountain they are climbing Be Removed in the Name of Jesus and cast into the sea..may they not have doubt…may you remove doubters and naysayers from their paths…may they believe what you say in your Word. Lord we speak it and believe it that this mountain will be removed from Zoey…that his little body will be restored fully. We speak your promises for healthy children, we speak your promises for life and health…We speak them Lord, belived them and supernaturally ask that you remove this mountain and cast it into the sea. Lord we believe in total healing for Zoe!
